Turbine & Generator Installation At Al Farish Dubai
Fagioli India is awarded the contract for 3 nos. Generator weighing 170 Ton each & 3 nos. Turbine weighing 120 Ton each installation at AL FARISH , DUBAI
Whereas 2 Nos. Generator & 2 Nos. Turbine Lifting has been completed and 1 no. Generator & 1 No. Turbine lifting work is remaining.
The Installation of generator involved lifting it by 12 Meter from ground level to the generator & turbine deck level, Using 4 Nos.L180 Ton capacity strand jack mounted on purpose built tower support structure and TZ gantry crane arrangement. After lifting to the just about full height, TZ gantry together with the generator were skidded25 meter into position just above final location using TZ gantry crane and skidding arrangement. The L180 jacks were then re-activated to lower the generator onto its supports and to transfer the load from the TZ gantry. An identical lifting arrangement was then used to install the turbine.
